Design Concept
Development centers on a glazed circular courtyard as the building's heart — drawing on the Bimaristan Al-Nuri tradition of healing architecture for natural light, ventilation, and a calming link to nature. Curved, flowing masses suited to 3D printing break the rigidity of conventional clinics; two main masses split into four functional blocks gathered around the courtyard. Operational upgrades add rainwater harvesting and a solar-energy strategy.
