Design Concept
A village-like campus of low timber pavilions gathered under deep, slatted timber canopies that shade open-air courtyards and breezeways against the Gambian sun. Cross-ventilated dormitories, a daylit dining hall, learning rooms and a mosque cluster around planted courtyards, so children move between home, school and worship through cool, green outdoor rooms. Local timber, generous overhangs and passive cooling turn a tight brief into a nurturing, dignified residential community.
